Did you ever give a thought on how it is like to live in the bush in Africa? To imagine oneself as a tourist in a commercial lodge is relatively easy. And if you have already tried, then you know what we’re talking about. But still, to live in it is a different story. We’ll put you in a luxury bush villa, or in rustic farm house or in an intimate family owned lodge on the river. Or, if you prefer, in 2 or all of the 3, for a wider bush living experience.
You can try a Lowveld living experience all year-round. The dry season (April-October) is the best for game viewing, as the bush is not as thick as in summertime. Clear sky and warm sunny days are almost a daily happening. Nights are cooler but usually with no mosquitos around. In summer, the bush is thick and green, water sources available more or less anywhere and animals tend to be more scattered. But you’ll see them anyway.
√ To make your life even easier, we will stock your fridge with all you need for breakfast for your entire stay. On request, we can even provide you a private chef: our specialities are braai (bbq) and Italian cuisine.
√ If you don’t wan to drive around by yourself, we can give you a private guide (we have guides speaking fluently English, Italian, French and Afrikaans).
√ You may also combine 2-3 different types of accommodation. For instance, a bush villa in the Hoedspruit area. Or a farmhouse in the Makalali Private Game reserve. A private camp in the Sabi Sands game reserve. Or else a cottage on the Olifants river within the Greater Kruger.
√ If the option above is what you think will suit you more, you may also consider to book private transfer and avoid to rent a car. There will be certainly an extra charge, but no hassles (fuel, road, speed camera traps…).
On day 1, fly or drive to Nelspruit and from there head to Hoedspruit via the Panorama Route and the Blyde River Canyon.

You will find your fridge and freezer well stocked for the entire week, according to your instructions. You don’t have to worry about bedding and cleaning, this will be done for you. Just focus on the many things you can do, at your own pace. You can visit us to our office and we’ll be glad to help you out, for no extra charge, to plan your days.
On request, we can provide you a private chef to entertain you at your premises with a braai or a set of pasta or risotto cooked in the Italian way and, for how much it is possible, with authentic Italian ingredients.
Of course, drinks of any kind (except fruite juice, coffee, tea and milk for breakfast) will be at your own expense.
Your days will be at your disposal, with our local office available to assist 24/7. We can assist you to book activities on site or provide, on request, a private guide and all transfers, in the event you don’t want to drive yourself. Ask for a tailor-made quote.
